Student Activities

Extra curricular activities are an important part of the college experience.

New Creation College participates in community with activities and events that include but are not limited to networking opportunities, direct exposure to facilities of interest within a particular field, groups and organizations that enjoy participating in similar hobbies or arts, and expert presentations delivered by industry professionals.

New Creation College is pleased to have extensive connections and collaborations with industry professionals willing to share their knowledge and experience with our students. Many opportunities to learn from guest speakers in the classroom provide valuable knowledge and practical information from seasoned experts in their chosen field.

Our faculty are also incredibly active outside of the classroom. Making use of vital resources both on and off the campus is a crucial part of every student’s learning journey.  This is why we invest in opening up new channels and avenues in which the NCC students can participate and thus professionally and intellectually broaden their horizons.

Studies have shown that those who are active beyond strictly participating in classroom or practicum exercises, actually increase their chances for gainful employment and, more importantly, for approaching their lives in a more well-adjusted and productive manner. Making better leaders, more thoughtful professionals and more communicative members of their society, students who in engage in multiple activities during their scholastic career are often those who discover the most post graduate success. The NCC Student Activities mission is to encourage broad participation in a host of activities, thereby fostering the creation of professional men and women who will be active within their communities after they have completed our program.

Leadership Skills

We are striving to create vibrant leaders to solve tomorrow’s problems and pave the way for future generations.  There are a variety of student organizations and groups on campus.  Getting involved with any of these is a terrific way to not only meet new people, but to step up as a potential leader.  Help with committee organization, program planning, recruitment.  Fine tune your ability to speak in front of people and inspire fellow members.

New Creation College wants to train individuals who long to make a difference.  When it counts, leaders step up and help make the necessary change; they assist in creating the types of opportunities and chances for others to get back on their feet and ultimately thrive.  By becoming active in student programs, you are taking a step toward unlocking your true potential as a leader and as an effective contributing member of a team.

Communication
Listening to one another is a critical skill that we work to teach in both of our programs of study.  Classroom dialogue and practicum experience prove incredibly important when it comes to engaging in meaningful listening and communicating acts. Groups and organizations give you the chance to exchange information and ideas.

Networking

One of the most important things that you will take away from your NCC experience, is the number of incredible people you will meet here.  From faculty and staff to fellow students, you have a chance to engage with some thoughtful individuals who share your interests and passions.  Taking this a step further and joining with your fellow NCC members in focused groups and organizations is certainly beneficial in terms of establishing vital relationships that will assist you not only during your tenure at NCC, but throughout your entire life.

There are numerous ways to network today.  And student-centered activities represent yet another great method for interacting with people within your chosen field.  Not to mention, the programs that we have can also gain you connections with already established individuals in your field of choice.  In a highly competitive job market, any advantage you can gain is critical.
